On The Streats is a vibrant and delicious celebration of street food culture, bringing together the best food trucks, street vendors, and culinary artisans from across the city. Over three days, attendees will embark on a culinary journey, tasting a diverse array of flavors and experiencing the dynamic atmosphere of urban street food.

For the typography of On The Streats, I selected Gelica as the primary display font because of its rounded edges, playful character, and nostalgic, lived-in feel. It conveys a sense of warmth and familiarity that aligns perfectly with the brand's welcoming, community-driven spirit.

To complement Gelica, I chose Basic Sans for the body copy. Its clean, friendly, and highly readable design makes it ideal for longer text while still matching the approachable energy of Gelica. Together, these two typefaces create a cohesive and engaging visual identity that feels both fresh and familiar.

Color palette

For the color palette, I aimed to create a warm and inviting atmosphere by choosing tones that evoke the essence of food while also feeling nostalgic and slightly vintage. I settled on an analogous palette of four core swatches, each with a range of values to ensure enough contrast across design elements. This approach allows for both visual cohesion and flexibility, giving each design a distinct yet harmonious look that reflects the comforting, familiar spirit of the brand.
